I'm amazed how much happier the feet are, now I've given up on the second pair of socks. They still look a total mess, and it takes about 5 minutes to work up to pain free walking when we get going - but the walking is actually pain free.

I imagine there will be reckoning when all the plasters come off - but at the moment I'm living in blissful denial.
